In-person Component

- Instructor-led
- 32 hours of instruction
- Hosted at Penn State University Park
- Open to participants ages 18+

- Casting design: solidification modeling/flow modeling
- Mold making/preparation: process and mold materials
- Metallurgy & heat treatment: casting, forging, rolling
- Aluminum casting
- Post processing
- Brass casting
What Participants Receive

In-person Component
Students who complete the in-person training will receive the following:

- A certificate of completion
- A bronze METAL Level 1 medallion
