Introducing ACE
The America’s Cutting Edge (ACE) program introduces participants into the machine tool industry, offering practical skills and firsthand CNC machining experience. First, participants will complete an online curriculum that will build the foundations of what it takes to become a machinist. After completion, you qualify for a spot in our in-person training.
From ACE to the Workplace
Introducing METAL
This program offers a unique opportunity to explore metallurgy, casting, and forging in depth. You will begin with an online learning component that is self-paced, and created by Penn State Behrend’s own professors. After completion of the online training, participants will then have the opportunity to sign up for a week-long bootcamp, where they will take what they learned online and gain hands-on experience as they interact with industry experts.
